The Howling Void - The Pearl of Our Collection

I'll be fucking right if I call this band the pearl of our collection. It's almost unbelieavable that this can be a one man act from Texas, and by far it's one of my favourite preferences in the genre. Beatiful is every tinest bit of this release. Great, great, fucking awesome funeral doom album with crushingly sad autumnal atmosphere released by the Russian label Solitude Productions. Highly recommended.

Uncertainty Principle - Pounded by the Abrasive

Hell, it's been a long while since the last post, but here we are again with works by Uncertainty Principle. Its founder and the only participant S.P.White creates slow, abrasive music which one can perceive with difficulty. There are, of course, exceptions. His music is a mixture of funeral doom (slow'n'steady tempo, majestic atmosphere), harsh noise (jaggedly-abrasive sound in general) and ambient (fuck, just pieces of ambient). He's got quite a large discography including rather diverse releases. Besides, Mr. White is one of the participants of Null Collective.
