Gnaw Their Tongues

"Once I had a dream. It was something like a large avant garde orchestra. With a crowd of members. And all of them were playing a terrible abstract piece of improvisation: two drummers, four bass guitarists, horn section, string section, a host of vocalists... That's how everything started", tells Mories - professional graphic designer from the Dutch city of Drachten. He had been a member of local black, death, doom bands since 1998. Then he gave music up. And in 2002 he sat down to his computer to literally make his dream real. That's how Gnaw Their Tongues project was born. The title was inspired by Apocalypse, the last book of the New Testament: "(16:10) And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, (16:10) And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores,  and repented not of their deeds."

Another project by Huw Morgan. As in the case of the previous project I failed to find any of the tracks available for free downloading (you can try searching them via Soul Seek), so another YouTube video and nothing else to add.

Brain Dead Orgy - Casual Filth - 2013 Demo

This mini-post is dedicated to Huw Morgan and one of his numerous projects Brain Dead Orgy. What can I say about it? A two track demo recorded on a tape available for 3,5 euro here. I do not whether anybody buys it. I wouldn't. Despite the fact that it's a quite listenable undeground death metal. Unfortunately only the first track is available on youtube.com. And here it is. Enjoy.

This project is somewhat exceptional for our blog format.
First. Although all the tracks are created and recorded by just one guy (except for female backing voice), there are live perfomances on which the line-up extends up to somewhat three participants.
Second. The guy plays more or less melodic thrash metal/metalcore.
Third. Lyrics of his songs are sheer mockery dedicated to evil, Satan and dissected bodies. Well, to be honest they are real fun.
It's up to you really to decide whether it's worth listening but here are translation for the lyrics of the song presented in the video, official page and all the necessary stuff.
